Este disco recupera el único álbum que grabaron los Heartbeats, en el que Octavio y su banda demostraban su enorme habilidad para adaptar los sonidos más rotundos de la nueva ola británica y sobre todo americana (The Knack, The Beat, Plimsouls, Code Blue…) y plasmarlos en canciones de impacto inmediato, de estribillos irresistibles.
Además, “Good times gone” recoge también todo el material que llegaron a registrar al margen de su único álbum, con un montón de singles y colaboraciones en discos recopilatorios que incluyen jugosas versiones de gente como The Records, Plimsouls, Nerves, Brincos o Nacha Pop.
